When does GTA VI release?
November 19, 2026 — confirmed by Rockstar Games and reaffirmed in Take-Two's
official financial guidance. The exact release hour hasn't been announced yet.
Which platforms is it on?
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch. That's it — no PS4, no Xbox One,
no Switch.
Is there a PC version?
Not announced. For context: GTA V launched on consoles in September 2013 and
reached PC in April 2015, and Red Dead Redemption 2 took about a year. A later PC release is widely
expected, but Rockstar has confirmed nothing — and we only publish confirmed facts.
How much does it cost?
$79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition (USD; regional

What do I get for pre-ordering?
Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack (a '55 Vapid Stanier, the Shore
Court Garage at Ocean Beach, vintage outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a retro weapon
pattern). Digital pre-orders via the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store also get one free month of GTA+.
Do I need a disc drive?
The game is effectively digital-first: the boxed "physical" edition sold in stores
contains a download code rather than a playable disc.
Who are the protagonists?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos — a criminal duo whose story unfolds across the state
of Leonida, including the Miami-inspired Vice City.
Why doesn't this site cover leaks?
That's the whole point of Safehouse. Leaked and datamined material spoils story
